Jon Akin, head coach of Oglethorpe will be bringing his staff to AIS this summer to put on a four-day camp for all middle and upper school students. Registration information can be accessed on the school’s home page. Here is what Jon has to say about this summers camp:
“We are very excited to bring our staff to AIS,” says Jon Akin, the director and owner of Future Stars Soccer Academy and Head Coach at Oglethorpe University. “AIS has a great reputation, and we are pleased to collaborate in the effort to develop their soccer program. Future Stars Soccer Academy's soccer camps were created by former professional players who have achieved success at every level of the game and wish to pass that knowledge along to help develop the future stars of tomorrow. Our soccer camps are designed to improve each player's technical ability while also improving their tactical awareness in a competitive environment. Players will learn the same techniques that our staff used to succeed every day at the professional level. Furthermore, they will learn the skills and experience the work ethic that will take them to the next level. Our staff is composed of professionals that have played soccer in Europe, South America, Africa and here in the United States.
