5K Celebrations

For the 5K unit on Celebrations, many parents got involved in sharing family traditions. In the French class, Mrs. Shayne and Mrs. Ceccagnoli did a presentation about an Italian celebration called "La Befana." Although she is not a witch, La Befana has taken a trip from Italy on her flying broom. In this picture to the right, she is using a globe to describe the trip to the students.
