Get Involved with Strategic Plan
A new strategic plan will be developed this year with the assistance of all members of the AIS community, under the guidance of Alan Colberg, an AIS parent, trustee and managing partner with Bain & Company, the global consulting firm that led us through our last strategic plan development.
The development of our strategic plan will occur in three broad phases over the coming six months:
- Phase 1 – Review AIS Mission/Values and implications for the Strategic Plan
- Phase 2 – Identify the full set of potential five-year aspirations and ideas
- Phase 3 – Prioritize and integrate into a Strategic Plan
Phase 1 will primarily be conducted through a series of town-hall meetings (repeated with the parents on three different occasions to provide everyone with a chance to attend) and will focus on a review of the AIS mission and values and what is meant by educational excellence in the context of the IB program at AIS.
The Phase 1 parent town-hall meetings are scheduled as follows and will be held in the AIS auditorium:
- Wednesday, October 19, 7 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 25, 8:30 a.m.
- Thursday, November 3, 7 p.m.
