Primary School Workshop for Parents

Primary School parents are invited to attend a Beyond the Basics workshop, presented by Cécile Doyen and Leonie Ley-Mitchell on Wednesday, October 5, from 7 – 9 p.m. in the auditorium.

The aim of this workshop is to give parents a deeper understanding of The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. It builds on the Parent as Partners workshop for new parents and curriculum information given at Curriculum Information Night.

Learn more about how the philosophy and framework of the IBPYP guide the curriculum and day to day life at AIS; explore the Programme of Inquiry and how units of inquiry are planned; learn how language and math fit within the whole program, and how parents can continue to be partners in the process.
