Letter from the PO President, Adrianne Poulard

Dear AIS Families,
On behalf of the Atlanta International School Parent Organization (AISPO), I would like to welcome you to our 2008-2009 school year. It is hard to believe the new school year is just around the corner.
I am honored and excited to be the president of the AISPO this year. There will be so many ways for all of us to utilize our talents, desires, and passions to help further the goals of the school and enrich the experience of the entire community. You will have many opportunities to participate in activities and events, whether in the classroom or at school-wide events. You will find a list of activities and events at http://www.aischool.org/parents/activities.html events in which your involvement would be much appreciated. I encourage you to get involved as there is no better way to get to know our AIS community.
There will be parent volunteers present at orientations and AISPO meetings ready to answer questions and welcome you. We will also host a Volunteer Fair/Culture Club Open House on Friday, September 12 in the Auditorium. All our meetings are open to all parents. Please check the AIS Calendar as well as the weekly PO Bulletins for details on all the AISPO events throughout the year.
